Trilateral Relationship: Ascaris, Microbiota, and Host Cells

نویسندگان

چکیده

Ascariasis is a globally spread intestinal nematode infection of humans and considerable concern in pig husbandry. Ascaris accomplishes complex body migration from the intestine via liver lung before returning to intestine. Tissue habitat shared with microbial community pose question how interacts microbes host cells various tissues. This review addresses current knowledge trilateral relationship between Ascaris, its environment, cells, discusses novel approaches targeting these interactions combat this widespread livestock man.

Relationship between gut microbiota and type 2 diabetes

Diabetes is the most common endocrine disease following the spread of metabolic diseases worldwide. Diabetes is also the fifth leading cause of death in the world. Patients with type 2 diabetes account for about 90% of people with diabetes. Studies over the past years have shown a significant association between intestinal microbiota, intestinal dysbiosis, and metabolic syndrome. Changes in the...

Host-gut microbiota metabolic interactions.

The composition and activity of the gut microbiota codevelop with the host from birth and is subject to a complex interplay that depends on the host genome, nutrition, and life-style. The gut microbiota is involved in the regulation of multiple host metabolic pathways, giving rise to interactive host-microbiota metabolic, signaling, and immune-inflammatory axes that physiologically connect the ...

Structural host-microbiota interaction networks

Hundreds of different species colonize multicellular organisms making them "metaorganisms". A growing body of data supports the role of microbiota in health and in disease. Grasping the principles of host-microbiota interactions (HMIs) at the molecular level is important since it may provide insights into the mechanisms of infections. The crosstalk between the host and the microbiota may help r...

Relationship between Gingival Crevicular Fluid Microbiota and Cytokine Profile in Periodontal Host Homeostasis

As potential biomarkers in periodontitis, microbiome, and cytokines have recently been extensively investigated, but combined analyses of the variations between the microbial structure and cytokine composition are rare. The present study aimed to investigate whether there are differences in the combined profile of microbiome and cytokines in individuals with or without periodontitis. The microb...

The Gut Microbiota and Immune System Relationship in Human Graft-versus-Host Disease

Gut microbiota has gained increasing interest in the pathogenesis of immune-related diseases. In this context, graft-versus-host disease is a condition characterized by an immune response which frequently complicates and limits the outcomes of hematopoietic stem cell transplantations. Past studies, carried mostly in animals, already supported a relationship between gut microbiota and graft-vers...
